Things we have done so far in Mannheim;
Hello to everyone! How are you guys doing so far! These are some of Shu's and me's travel plans! Let me know if you guys are in these cities on these dates okay! So we can meet meet up!
26Mar - Milan
27&28Mar - Venice
29-31Mar - Florence
1-4Apr - Rome
5-7Apr - Prague
29apr-1may Amsterdam-Queen's day!!
(we're selling one bed for queen's day! check my facebook!)
So anyway, these are the things we've done so far!
EVERYTHING'S IN GERMANY BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT LEFT THIS COUNTRY YET. RAWR. Anyway....
ONE Athena and Regina visited Mannheim! (:
and we had a Singaporean cooked out where they cooked and... we just ate! (:
TWO We join most of our school's parties & this is the biggest one.
(this is one of the reasons we stay in Germany, too much parties. The exchange people in Mannheim really know how to make exchange students feel welcome (: )
VISUM PUBCRAWL (:
You get 5 beers, 5 shots and 1 Kebab
and I got away without drinking even a sip!
THREE We visited the Porsche museum.
I'm sorry Hsien but the Merz one is much better, this one is plain boring.
FOUR We visited the Mercedes museum.
This museum is damn nice, they even have audio devices for FREE and at every point of the museum you can load info of a specific car that you like and it would say stuff about it. They even have world events on the wall to tell you about the time period a particular range of cars were made. A MUST GO in my opinion! This is in Stuttgart! (:
FIVE We had a pretty snow day in Mannheim.
Going to be spring my ass, its still friggin cold and my summer dresses are still in their ziplock! I want sun sun sun, please!
SIX We went skiing!
It was so beautiful but it was so cold. I couldnt even feel my toes! Mer! Skiing in Germany was really rather affordable! We spend only 35 euros to rent the skis, 2 hours lessons and 2 hours free&easy! And oh-so-pretty! ((:
SEVEN Murphy's Law in Mannheim
This is a popular Irish pub here and we thought we'll check it out. I particularly like these selves! So pretty!
EIGHT This is just damn funny.
NINE We went to my German exchange buddy's place and had a great dinner. (:
Like I said, the exchange buddies and CCA here really kicks ass.
UPDATE MORE YOU GUYS!
XOXO(:

Amelia you didn't show one of the more interesting things in Maastricht
This is a view of the toilet bowl that the Maastrichters use everyday. I used it when I went to visit them. Man it's bizarre, Frankie described this as a viewing platform. Indeed man.
Sorry about your glass frankie!
Jem my post about antwerp is forthcoming!
Cheers,
Aidan

welcome to our house!
This is what you will see when you first step into our apartment! Let me give you a clockwise introduction. on your left (not visible), is the laundry room. the next left (the first door you see in the picture above) is our toilet. The third left (barely visible) is my bedroom. Up straight ahead is sherlyn's room, and finally on your right (you can see a bit of the door frame) is our kitchen!
our laundry room, not exactly in its best. haha. the blue/green bike on the left is mine! :)
The loo! it's pretty decent, i like it. :)
The mirror between sher and my room! haha we bought it on the 2nd day here cos we could not stand not having a mirror. our room's are literally a step away!
hello, sher!
and finally, welcome to my room!
and that's all for now folks! this time, it's for real. it's 4am now, yikes :/ time to hit the sacks!
LOTS OF LOVE,
AMELIA, your friendly blogger.

especially for sherlyn!
we maastrichters have finally gotten a little breather, and hence our sudden spamming of posts of events that are nearly a month overdue (wrt frankie and sherlyn's post). And this post is especially dedicated to my favourite (and only!) housie SHERLYN, who celebrated her birthday right here in maas! here are some shots of the fun-filled and oh-eh-some day!
at midnight, sher was pretty disappointed that no one else wished her except me. little did she know that there was a whole lot more installed for her that day! when i FINALLY got her to bed, that's when all the preparation began!
Alas, all was done! we tried all means to wake sher up,by even banging on her door really loudly but she slept as soundly as a log. I eventually had to go and tap her to get up by telling her that there was a fire (a half-truth, i daressay)
And of course, she was pleasantly shocked beyond words! :)
who ever said you couldn't eat good chinese food on exchange?!
menu: chicken rice, fried long beans, chicken, more chicken and potato salad. and to top it all off, miso soup and (melted) ben & jerry's!
Hope the couple of pictures didn't leave you too hungry!
that's all for now folks.
Till then,
AMELIA :)
